Why and when did you start racing go-karts? I started the first time in 1968 (Mac 101A)for about a year and a half. I wanted to race and couldn't afford big cars. Then marriage came with kids, now 2007, I wanted to do "fun" stuff with my grandson.

What type of kart do you race? C R G, World Formula.

Why did you choose the class and chassis you are racing? Price, avaialability, and for the most part lower maintenance, and more familiar with 4 stroke.

What advise would you give someone wanting to start racing? Your equipment doesn't have to be new, talk, visit with the other racers, ask questions, apply their knowledge and advice, and be smooth ! ( I have trouble with the last two).

What are your other hobbies? I do photography at Madera Speedway (CA) and for NASCAR upon request, restore 60's cars and play with computers.

what is your favorite saying? " REALLY ! "

What would you like people to know about you? I retired from the California Highway Patrol and currently do commercial vehicle record maintenance for DOT and CHP compliance.
